Realising VALUE in
under-utilised SPACES
for more SUSTAINABLE
and LIVEABLE cities
Our cities contain countless dormant and disused spaces, itching with potential and desperate for reinvigoration. Places that could be of immense benefit to their community instead of sitting idly by. SPACEMRKT is a property management social enterprise dedicated to changing this. Our purpose is to enhance the sustainability and liveability of our cities by unlocking the economic, social, and community value of under-utilised spaces.
We collaborate closely with private owners, government, councils, property developers, and community organisations to transform forgotten spaces, giving them a new purpose and new life. Through our deep expertise in placemaking, social purpose, and space management, we harness the POTENTIAL OF PLACE to create vibrant and productive hubs.
Our team brings together extensive experience across social purpose, place visioning, community engagement, and architecture to deliver projects with measurable impact.
Directors Joel Benichou, Sarah Booth and Place Consultant Cate Baker build upon the remarkable legacy of founders Nic Brunsdon and Beth George, with key contributions from figures like Kate Hulett and Emma Benichou. Supported by a vast array of collaborators, we continue to push the boundaries of space activation.
